You know, I really wanted to write something about Favre's retirement today, but I just couldn't find the words. Needless to say, I am both dumbfounded and depressed, yet happy that Brett went out on his own terms. I imagine whatever I would have written would have went something like this.

this has nothing to do with this entry...but i was at a bar tonight, and someone cranked up a song on a jukebox that reminded me of your Annoying Bar Songs series: a live version of "Dazed and Confused" by Led Zeppelin. it was about ten minutes long...and annoyed me and my two friends to no end. there was very little singing, lots of guitar riffing...and it just dragged on and would not end. we had no idea who put it on, but i wanted to find them and smack them.
It's good to know that there are more people like me out there.
